B2B Content Director

One of our fastest-growing business segments centers around B2B content created for physicians, with the goals of attracting referrals and establishing thought leadership. We’re looking for an ambitious candidate to take over this segment, lead our B2B team and drive growth to new heights.

Responsibilities:
Client Growth & Development: (20%)
You will help expand our B2B client base and increase this segment’s revenue by:
- Staying abreast of the latest healthcare B2B marketing trends and identifying how to apply them to current and potential clients.
- Working with the leadership team to identify and cultivate potential B2B clients.
- Expanding B2B volume with existing clients.
Account Management (30%)
You will be a main point of contact for B2B clients, and will work directly with them to define their content strategy and identify deliverables. This includes:
- Developing strategies that help clients meet their goals.
- Working with clients to pinpoint messages and storytelling/content opportunities that serve their larger strategy.
- Working with clients to refine project requests and crystallize them into concrete deliverables.
- Identifying opportunities to improve and expand each client’s B2B content.
Team Management: (40%)
You will oversee our B2B content team. This includes:
- Mentoring and managing team members to help them constantly improve their work.
- Translating client direction into actionable assignments.
- Partnering with our project managers to intake and assign new project requests.
- Reviewing draft content to ensure it fulfills client goals.
- Editing content and guiding our creative team on revisions
- Collaborating with our client success director to gather client feedback and communicate it to creative team.
- Expanding our B2B team by cultivating a constant stream of new staff and contract creatives.
Writing: (10%)
- Occasionally write B2B content to support creative team.
Qualifications
- You need to be a skilled B2B strategist and writer who is an entrepreneur at heart, with a track record of concrete success. Qualifications include:
- A deep understanding of healthcare content marketing.
- 5+ years of hands-on B2B content strategy and writing/editing experience in the healthcare and medical research sector.
- 5+ years of experience managing clients and stakeholders, either in-house or at an agency.
- A track record of using AI to automate tasks and create efficiencies
- A flexible, collaborative mindset: Our team is constantly experimenting, failing and trying new things. We’re open about our mistakes and eager to improve. You should be comfortable in this environment.
